David Rutley MP Visit – Driving the export market

David Rutley, MP for Macclesfield, visited the factory to find out the secrets of our success in international export markets.

David first got to know about us at last year’s Macclesfield & Wilmslow Business Awards, when we won awards for both ‘Innovation & Design’ and ‘Business Of The Year: Turnover 1 million to 5 million’.  As a long term advocate of improving export performance across the country, David was keen to find out more about how we have conquered the export market.  David spent time meeting the team, learning more about our innovative products and touring the factory floor.

Following his visit, David said:

 “It is great to see JTAPE taking the lead in the export market.  The team is clearly committed to international trade.  They are helping to put Macclesfield on the map and making a valuable contribution to our local economy.  I hope many more companies will follow their lead and be encouraged to export to Europe and internationally.”
